Innovative small firms ignored by Whitehall

One small company's attempts to cut the £35m a year cost of running the
Businesslink.gov.uk advice website have been rebuffed by HM Revenue &
Customs. Fubra, a website developer and hosting company, had spotted that
Businesslink was costing the Government £4.7m a year alone in "hosting and
infrastructure" – a sum that it could slash significantly.
