Vince Cable's mentoring portal was launched with fewer mentors than advertised but is gaining momentum
Government claims to have signed up tens of thousands of people to a ‘Big Society’-style business mentoring scheme have proven off the mark.
Vince Cable, the Business Secretary, launched the “new 40,000-strong network of business mentors” last week as part of the Business Department’s restructuring of business support away from the state-funded Business Link network of advisers.
